In an interview with Heat magazine, the daughter of Boomtown Rat Bob was asked if she considered herself a celeb in her own right.
"I'm known, so I am a celebrity. But I'm the lowest dregs," she declared. "I don't think I'm up there with the greats. I'm no Marlon Brando."
Aww, now we feel a bit sorry for her... but she's right about the Brando bit.
Peaches went on to talk about the paparazzi, saying: "It is annoying and sometimes it's really bad and makes me feel like a prisoner of war.
"I can't complain about it, but I feel like some of the tactics that they use are really wrong. They'll shout swear words or sexual terms for women.
"It's abusive... it's just old perverts in coats huddled round outside a club, looking for Britney Spears's m**ge."
Ms Geldof went on to say that she doesn't "give a f**k" what the press write about her but added: "I read about this person and I'm like 'Who is this girl?
"Who are you, because you're not me and you're really kind of obnoxious'. I wouldn't like me if I'd just read about me in some of the publications."
To be fair, it's not just the mags, Peaches... we've seen you on the telly and you seem kind of obnoxious on that too.

Peaches isn't the only one who's famous for being famous...
Famous For Being Famous
Paris Hilton is perhaps the world's most famous for being famous person. She's managed to carve a very lucrative career out of having the same name as a chain of posh hotels and having a mucky video leaked onto the web.
Her old pal Nicole Richie somehow managed to become world famous for being the adopted daugther of soul singer Lionel, hanging out with Paris on a reality TV show and driving her car while high on drugs.
Of course another surefire way to get famous is to start dating somebody who's already famous. Alex Reid won Celebrity Big Brother even though he was a bit of a twit - simply because everybody reads about him all the time.
Coleen Rooney became a household name very shortly after her childhood sweetheart, soccer star Wayne, did. The young WAG has since managed to become a columnist and TV presenter.
Does ANYBODY remember why Jodie Marsh is famous? Getting her norks out? Sleeping with people? Being orange? We've no idea.
Sometimes just dating somebody famous isn't enough, and you have to date somebody famous and old enough to be your grandfather. Just ask Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood's ex Katia Ivanova.
Of course Katie Price has a number of strands to her career, including modelling, perfume, clothing and books - but there's no escaping the fact that her core job for some years has simply been "Being Jordan".
Kerry Katona was once in girl band Atomic Kitten, but has long since become far more famous for her turbulent personal life. And just like Katie she earns a lot of money for letting TV cameras follow her around.
Dancer Kevin Federline gained overnight fame (or was it infamy?) when he became Mr Britney Spears in 2004 - and his unsuccessful attempts to launch a career as a rapper have proved the public would prefer him to remain the ex-Mr Britney Spears.
