Robert Plant has confirmed a 12-date spring North American tour, which will be the third leg of U.S. touring in support of his latest album, Band Of Joy.
The touring band is the same that made the record and that is currently touring the States: Patty Griffin, vocals; Darrell Scott, multi-instrumentalist/vocals; Byron House, bass/vocals; Marco Giovino, drums and percussion/vocals, and co-producer Buddy Miller, guitar/vocals.
The album is up for two Grammy Awards (Best Americana Album and Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance) at this year's ceremony on February 13. Plant also is nominated for Best British Male Solo Artist at the 2011 BRIT awards, marking his first nomination. The BRIT Awards will be held in London on February 15.
