Michael Jackson Doctor's trial to be televised

The death of Michael Jackson will make for even more highly-publicized television fodder. Dr. Conrad Murray's trial is set to be televised.

According to CNN, Judge Michael Pastor ruled that the trial for Murray, accused of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson, will allow approved television cameras. Yup, E! might be pushing back some new Kardashian episodes to air what's sure to be the biggest trial of the year.

Of course, the judge reportedly said he wanted the "absolute least intrusive placement" of cameras, but probably enough to make him a national celebrity. He's also said to have ordered news crews to submit proposals detailing how they expect to cover the trial, which is expected to last six weeks.

Murray is accused of administering the lethal dose of Propofol, a surgical-grade anesthetic, which led to the death of the King of Pop back in June 2009. Last month, Judge Michael Pastor ruled that there was sufficient evidence in the case to warrant a manslaughter trial.
